On Friday 28th May 2010, the grand total raised for the Sponsored Challenge was £1025.81. Well done to all the children and a big thank you to the committee members who helped on the day. The money will be spent on playground equipment which will be decided by our Class Councils. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fenstanton and Hilton Primary School PTA100 Club monthly prize drawRaise money for the PTA and have a chance of winning some cash too!!!As part of its ongoing fundraising efforts the PTA is looking to start a monthly 100 Club prize draw. The format of this will be that each member pays for ticket either through a standing order with their bank to the PTA or an annual subscription of £24. The aim will be to sell 100 tickets and for approximately 45% of the money to be allocated to prizes and the remainder to the PTA. Each month all tickets will be placed into a draw for three prizes which if we achieve our goal of selling 100 tickets will be: 1st - £502nd - £253rd - £10Should the number of tickets sold be more or less than the 100 then the prizes will be amended accordingly. There are no limits on the number of tickets you can buy. This is a particularly good way for parents to contribute who don't have the time to become directly involved in PTA events but who wish to help with the efforts to raise vital funds for our children and the school. I would stress that this money is to buy items over and above that which the school provides through its core funding. The PTA committee has decided, after consulting with the school, to put the funds raised through this 100 club towards buying additional fiction books for the school library to help bridge the gap from the loss of the council library service. (This will be reviewed on an annual basis). If you are interested in taking part and helping our fundraising efforts whilst at the same time having a chance of winning some cash yourself then please complete your details and return this form to school or hand to a committee member. If you wish to pay by standing order, a form is availble below to be printed out or cheques should be payable to Fenstanton and Hilton School PTA for the required number of tickets for a years membership. If you require any further information then please contact me through the school. I will have a stall at the Summer Fayre should you wish to sign up or speak to me there. Thanks for your support.
